POSTER SESSION

 

Poster presentations are increasingly being considered the most effective way of communicating with fellow researchers, as it provides a platform for one to one interaction. Therefore, in this conference most of the free papers will be in the form of posters. To encourage poster presentations, three poster prizes for each daily poster sessions have been instituted by the Organizers in addition to the regular award. The prize will be shared;by all the authors. The evaluation will be done by the experts.At least one author should be available at site for interaction.

 

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PREPARATION OF POSTERS

 

Poster Size
The board for posters measures approximately 48 inches (1.22 m) X 36 inches (0.9 m). Pins for mounting the poster will be available at the site.
Heading
Poster should have a heading at the top that spans its full width and includes the title, the name(s) of the author(s) and affiliation(s).
Content
The main body of the poster should include subheadings such as Introduction, Materials and Methods/ Experimental Procedures, Results, Discussion, Conclusion. The use of diagrams is encouraged especially if it reduces the text.
Format
The title must be large enough to be viewed from a distance of three meters. The title should be in 96pt character size with the names of the authors and affiliations in 72pt. The subheadings should be bold with 48pt character size and all text including figure legends in 28pt character size.
Time
The Authors are required to mount their material at 9.00 AM and remove it between 4.00 – 5.00 PM the same day. If a poster is not removed, the poster material shall be discarded.
Caution:
 If the allotted poster is not displayed or the author is not present at the stipulated time, the paper will be disqualified.
Suggestions
Authors are encouraged to bring a few copies of mini-version of the poster for distribution to the delegates.
